Our wonderfully tasty Vegetarian Shredded Hoisin Duck tastes just divine combined with the flavours of sweet honey and fiery ginger. Made with store cupboard staples and our Vegetarian Shredded Hoisin Duck which cooks straight from the freezer you can have this tasty dish on the table in less than 30 minutes.
Combine the hoisin sauce and honey in a small jug with 50 ml water and set aside.
Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan over a medium heat. Add the ginger and garlic, stir for a few seconds to release their aroma, then stir in the frozen Linda McCartney Vegetarian Shredded Hoisin Duck. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes then add the hoisin and honey mixture. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, stirring, until steaming hot. Serve immediately over steamed rice. Garnish with shredded spring onion and chilli.
4 tablespoons hoisin sauce
2 tablespoons honey
1 tbsp sunflower oil
2 cm fresh ginger, peeled and grated
2 garlic cloves, grated
300g pack frozen Linda McCartney Vegetarian Shredded Hoisin Duck
1 spring onion, shredded
1 red chilli, shredded
steamed rice, to serve
