Vegetarian shredded Hoisin Duck with sesame noodles



Another great way to use our Vegetarian Shredded Hoisin Duck is this tasty Hoisin Duck with Sesame Noodles recipe. This recipe serves four but can easily be doubled to feed a large crowd.


5 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon honey
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1 1/4 tablespoons sesame oil
250g egg noodles
1 tablespoon sunflower oil
2 garlic cloves, grated
300g pack frozen Linda McCartney Vegetarian Shredded Hoisin Duck
1 spring onion, shredded
1/2 red chilli, shredded


Combine the hoisin sauce, honey, soy and 1/4 sesame oil in a small jug with 50 ml water and set aside. Cook the noodles following packet instructions. Drain, stir through 1 tablespoon sesame oil and set aside.

Heat the oil in a wok or large frying pan over a medium heat. Add the garlic, stir for a few seconds then stir in the frozen Linda McCartney Vegetarian Shredded Hoisin Duck. Cook, stirring, for 3 minutes, then stir in the hoisin sauce mixture. Cook for another 4-5 minutes, stirring, until steaming hot. Serve immediately over the noodles. Garnish with shredded spring onion and chilli.
